Bourke & Hare Cafe Interior

Two new walls designed for Bourke & Hare, a new cafe space located in Mascot, Sydney.

 

With vintage timber and brickwork all around, the mural was designed to enhance the ‘rustic meets urban organic’ feel of the space.

Playing heavily with textures and a muted colour palette, I also wanted to bring a little slice of urban street art into the interior, with the subject matter seemingly blending into the concrete walls.

 

“Enjoy The Little Things” is a quote that means a lot to the owners. I hope this part of the mural will inspire people to pause halfway through their coffee and reflect on all the little things that make their world go round.
